Welcome to Il Gusto del Paese. ”A Taste of the Country“. That's what the company's name means. Literally. And that's what we want you to do when you visit. The Italian countryside is one of my great loves. So I bought a 17th century farmhouse and stable in Italy — Umbria, to be precise — and started the renovation.

I invite you to experience Umbria! Imagine relaxing by the pool of your own private villa while surrounded by the rolling Umbrian hills. Tour the hilltop villages of Tuscany and Umbria. Taste the wines at the local enoteca (wine bar). Or savor a plate of fresh pasta at the trattoria off the Piazza.

The property is Fondo Le Teglie and is to be a space for friends and family to come together, to explore together, and to relax together surrounded by one of the most beautiful regions in the world. I want to create a place you could come home to–all the way in Italy.
